In a world full of fancy birthday cakes, here’s the only one you need

How to have a birthday cake that tastes good AND is healthy for both children and seniors? Basically how to have your cake and eat it, too!

With our bespoke cakes, you get:
– all-natural ingredients only
– no artificial colouring
– no synthetic flavouring
– less sugar

You’ll certainly make an impression at any party. Not to mention the new age, health-conscious parents will thank you for keeping their allergy-ridden kids in mind. And the seniors will adore you for helping to keep their sugar levels in check!

That’s why having an all-natural celebration cake will make your life SO much more enjoyable, and even help you make / keep more friends.

But don’t just take our word for it. Here’s an actual review from our bakery Dough Empire FB page:

You can go for a simple, rustic look. Or you can ask for a customised cake, too. Like this one:

click on the cake to see a gallery of the full dessert table setup
Bottom tier: Matcha cake with turquoise ombre roses frosting
Top tier: Earl Grey cake with pink frosting, adorned with sugar pearls

A two-hour workshop that shows you how to make your own Mandalas from scratch

manntraco mandala workshop

Last updated on May 2, 2017

Come join us at The Garden Slug (May 7th at 10am or May 21st at 10am) for this two-hour workshop.

mandala making workshop at the garden slug

Mandalas are increasingly being used as an art therapy resource, evidenced by the countless mandala-themed colouring books you see everywhere.
Instead of buying a colouring book – come join us and learn how to make YOUR OWN mandala this weekend.

Doodlers, dreamers, or those seeking to rearrange your inner lives… all are welcome!

It’s actually really easy to learn and design mandalas on your own. Why colour in someone else’s computer-generated artwork, when you can create by hand something that fully expresses your self?
It will be akin to your signature or thumbprint, only in the form of the most beautiful diagrams.

All you have to do at this workshop is learn a few different styles and patterns, that can be mixed and matched, to create a brand new mandala of your own. You’ll be a bona fide MandalaMeister™ right before lunchtime rolls around.

The mandala creation process is SO soothing… almost meditative. Allows me to access deeper levels of conscience. —Sara W., mother of 3

Soon this became a daily habit & helped me stabilise, integrate & re-order my inner life! —SY Tan, fintech developer

If you’re a designer, artist, or art therapist, this is a whole new realm that could open up a lot of new business. You can get in on the ground floor of this.

Last month I built a solid, six-by-four wooden stage with my bare hands… just so I can invite fresh skinny talents like JJ and The Paperplanes come pluck guitar and stomp around for you while you quaff your ciders and shovel down those truffle fries.

JJ and the who?

JJ and The Paperplanes, you ninny. It is a Pop Punk band from Singapore that’s as real as the food we serve, with none of that ‘I’m an artiste’ pretension.
