Did you know the humble moss has been around for 350 million years?? You could call it The Pioneer Plant™ as mosses were the first plants to emerge from the ocean and conquer land!
Instead of buying a kumquat tree this year — come join us and learn how to use this ancient plant to make YOUR OWN terrarium this weekend.

Homemakers, students, cubicle rats, startup founders… all are welcome!

No green fingers? No worries! It’s actually really easy to learn and construct a terrarium of your own. Once you have the know-how, you can add in little memorabilia from your own home, or even find special items online to make this terrarium uniquely yours.

All you have to do is learn the basics of building a terrarium or ‘mossarium’ using the planet’s oldest yet most underrated plant; MOSS. By the end of the workshop you will discover you have green thumbs after all! You will be under the care of the best instructor this side of the hemisphere – Charles of MOSSINGARDEN.

You will also learn how to avoid rookie mistakes like this: (i.e. learn how to NOT kill one of the most drought-resistant plants on the planet!!)

It was an uplifting workshop! It helped me better my relationships at work. —J. Wang, retail manager

I love being able to create my own mini civilisation. —YX, marketing exec

You also get to bring home your very first mini ecosystem creation. If you love games like SimCity, Civilization and They Are Billions — this is like stage 1 except IRL in 4D! You will be bringing home not just a piece of nature but also a slice of history.

Having a personal terrarium in your home or workspace will

☘ start your day right

☘ give you something to talk to if you don’t have pets

☘ help appreciate the role of moss in regulating nature’s ecosystems

☘ remind ourselves of our role in the social ecosystem (maybe???)
