Immaculate Makan Planning!

 Immaculate Makan Planning

How cute is that? Jose slug drew this for Sharon Tan’s dinner party last Saturday evening :-) I like how he drew the salad bowl! Like, some of the receptacles actually have shading on them!

The Story of a Signature Dish

David Chang is chef of one of New York’s hottest restaurants Momofuku Ko (which I’ve had the pleasure of seeing on Travel & Living channel only). The following story in bon appétit magazine had me at hello, combining two of my greatest loves – cooking & comics.

Click on the pic to find out how it took David Chang a lifetime to create his signature Soft-Cooked Egg with Caviar. Inspire!

Tomorrow (Mon 21st Sept) we’re open 10am-10pm

Public holidays we’re open full hours 10am-10pm, just so ya know.

Here’s wishing everyone a peaceful Eid Mubarak / Hari Raya Aidilfitri!

Stumbled upon these awesome instructions on how to weave & cook a ketupat! Think this’ll be good fun on top of the cookie-making workshops? :D

Pasta in Old-Fashioned Cream Sauce w/ Oodles of Smoked Salmon

This was once a “special” that got bumped up to a permanent residence on the menu due to popular demand!
Pasta in old-fashioned cream sauce

Comes with oodles of fresh veges too. Pairs best with a Coke Lite :)
Pairs so well with with a Coca Cola Light... *fizz*

09-09-09: Happy birthday to Harvey & Lola’s mummy!

Random fact: Did you know that 09/09/09 represents the last set of repeating, single-digit dates that we’ll see for almost a century (until Jan 1, 2101) or a millennium (mark your calendars for January 1, 3001), depending on how you want to count it. [okay, end of dweeb-talk]

09/09/09 is also special to us because Harvey & Lola popped by with their mummy to celebrate her birthday :) Thanks for making our day & we lurve the pics & your hat! :)
