Oranges galore for the good folks from Project Kyrie who will be feeding 200 destitute folks tomorrow! Doesn’t take much to feel good, you just have to try to do bits of good here and there. We are probably not capable enough to do something earth-shattering, but it’s nice to be able to help out in small ways

Village Hunk-of-a-Tiramisu, that is.

Each portion is hacked out of a larger tray “rustically”… the village way.

We heeded your feedback & got rid of all that fastidiousness, and went back to the basics.
We set it free & no longer hold it captive within the constraints of that little glass ramekin.
More freedom means more brandy, more mascarpone, more indulgence.
LOVES!

Sorry about the horrid rhyming.. I’ve yet to shake off the melatonin stupor.. Apples!! Yes, this is our latest community project for www.projectkyrie.com Last week, Nicholas ( sweetest sweetheart this side of the east and he cooks too! ) asked us if we are keen to participate in a soup kitchen programme, where they feed 200+ needy folks twice per mth. They’ve already found someone to provide the food, so we thought apples may be a good addition to a well-rounded meal. Off I went to the wholesale market and loaded 2 cartons of these juicy babies into the slime-green slug mobile..
The people who manage Projectkyrie are mainly Catholics, but they truly embrace diversity.. The needy folks who benefit from this food programme are from all religions, race and creed. There is no discrmination whatsoever. We like !
Only 3 more days to National Day… I’ve always appreciated the peace in Singapore, so let’s take it 1 step further, and truly celebrate diversity too!
Peace~om~Peace.

This National Day long weekend, in line with the govt’s call for a Kinder Singapore (no lah, no tacky discount on “everything that’s red & white”) here’s a special offer to share el Double Cheese Lava Nachos on the cheap!

Although, on closer look, it does look kinda red & white hor? Kind of lah. Anyhoo, we’ll get to the cheap part later.
How’s this in line with the S’pore Kindness Movement, you ask?
Hello, is el muchos muchos nachos! Look at the size of this baby & the amount of cheese heaped on it – you can’t possibly finish it all by yourself lah you greedy selfish oaf!! MUST SHARE WITH FRIENDS OK?!
So yeah, be kind & share & you know what – we’re giving a $4.40 discount on every Double Cheese Lava Nachos purchased (because s’pore is turning 44 this year, nyahaha!) BUT there’s a big cheesy catch here:
You need a super-patriotic coupon code.
How to obtain said coupon code? 2 easy steps.
1. Follow us on Twitter.
2. Demand the coupon code from our Twitterslug!
~ that’s all. Easy peasy. ~

Michael Cheng … one of our favouritest guests ever! Charming, unassuming, so humble, gosh we can go on and on ( Yes, u single girls out there can start bribing me…) … He organized a makan party and we were happy to supply the food
We’re absolutely thrilled that his guests enjoyed the food . In this case, F&B refers to “Food & Booze“.. Now, we know whom we should call, if we miss our beer supplier’s ordering cut-off time.. :-0
** Hey Michael, Thanks for the incredible support and kindness, we’re so touched**
