The Garden Slug goes Bananas!

On April Fool’s day, Joe slug and I decided that YES, we will sell our souls to the corporate bigwigs and go networking!! Haha, just kidding! Actually, we set up our brand stand at Play where we hawked our wares, and chatted with the business and media folks from 5degrees. We wanted a stand that was zany, humourous and filled with bursts of colours..We shared with everyone our range of food and bev services and exchanged business ideas with some very cool people. Thanks to Pin and Willie for inviting us!

No, we are not serving Baked Rabbit, Provencale-style!! Noooooo..

DSC02494 by you.

We found a cute bunny in the Siglap area 3 days ago, at around 730pm.. ( specifically, at the Jln Sempadan large field) It’s a 3yr old male sweetheart with pale grey fur and gentle black eyes.. Fully toilet-trained, and given a clean bill of health from the vets next to The Garden Slug.. We’re trying to find its owner, so if bunny’s yours, “fess up! If nobody comes forward, we’ll have to put bunny up for adoption.. Email me if you’re interested :-) he doesn’t bite or snap at people, and seems very sociable and well-adjusted ..

What’s this silly ol’ thing called facebook anyways…

Seems like… all we can do is post, like, little mini one-sentence updates … things that are too small/ boring/ insignifcant to be blog-worthy.

And people can post THEIR own photos on our li’l FB page? And start reviewing & discussing us right in front of our faces? Hmm…

The more tech-savvy younglings who work with us tell us we can post “event notifications” & even run little competitions on this li’l FB page? Hmm…

I’ve heard you might spot someone interesting on our FB page & it lets you make new friends, or reconnect with old ones. OK don’t get all creepy & start stalking each other can? Hmm…

It all sounds interesting lah. But who checks their facebook anyways? Don’t people have to work/ go to school/ build empires/ seek enlightenment/world domination??

Do you have a facebook account? How often do you update it?
