A!

We’ve got exciting news for all our hygienephiles out there! The Garden Slug has been graded A for cleanliness. Yay! The folks from NEA popped by and went thru the slug kitchen and dining area and were happy with what they saw.. And they commented that we’ve got the cutest staff they’ve ever seen. ( Ok, I made up the last bit , hehe) Thank you NEA- we’ll continue to do our very best in ensuring that our food is prepared in a wholesome manner :-)

Pumpkin Bumpkin~

Roasted ripe pumpkin and olive oil blended to a smooth pulp with herbs and some mysterious root vegetables… We topped it with a so-hip-it-hurts ( ermm, it’s hip to us nerdy slugs hehe)  mixture of organic sesame seeds+ sea salt + konbu flakes.

It was sold out within 3 hours of a chilly wet night… But no worries, we’d bug Joseph slug to whip it up again :-)
