christmas 2006 don't ask why sharon has no eyebrows. just don't ask.

9 months older we are

And in a few months, it’ll be our first anniversary.

In the beginning, the three of us worked 14-hour shifts everyday, from opening to closing, seven days a week. We also had our friends David and Elaine, to whom we are eternally grateful, help us out during the mad slams.

Then we decided that Tuesdays shall be our day of rest. Two menu revamps and several hairstyle changes later, we now have two good boys Chris and Michael helping us out.

We thank you for your kindness, generosity and support. You are what keeps us going!

    Thank you for letting us use the cafe for our shoot today :) a biggggg merci beaucoup to you guys for that and I would like to say you guys have got something good going on ;)

    All the people who were with us for the shoot today had only praises for the food, decor and service. Please please keep up the slug power! And yes, I am still craving for the All Day Breakfast at this 12:21am moment. :D

    oh! I saw your entry on the revamping of artwork on walls? Could I maybe send some photography work over for you guys to er… shortlist? They’re not great, but yeah.. I’d love to help! :) Let me know :)

    Ermmm.. he IS spotting a new haircut. ahhaahha!! Joe slug has gone trekking in Northern Vietnam and will be back sometime mid September. So, meanwhile, it’s just Sharon slug and myself + Chris slug + Michael slug ( the 2 new cute PT boys you havent met) and good ol’ Elaine slug…

    There was this guy see.
    He wasn’t very bright and he reached his adult life without ever having learned “the facts”.
    Somehow, it gets to be his wedding day.
    While he is walking down the isle, his father tugs his sleeve and says,

    “Son, when you get to the hotel room…Call me”

    Hours later he gets to the hotel room with his beautiful blushing bride and he calls his father,

    “Dad, we are the hotel, what do I do?”

    “O.K. Son, listen up, take off your clothes and get in the bed, then she should take off her clothes and get in the bed, if not help her. Then either way, ah, call me”

    A few moments later…

    “Dad we took off our clothes and we are in the bed, what do I do?”

    O.K. Son, listen up. Move real close to her and she should move real close to you, and then… Ah, call me.”

    A few moments later…

    “DAD! WE TOOK OFF OUR CLOTHES, GOT IN THE BED AND MOVED REAL CLOSE, WHAT DO I DO???”

    “O.K. Son, Listen up, this is the most important part. Stick the long part of your body into the place where she goes to the bathroom.”

    A few moments later…

    “Dad, I’ve got my foot in the toilet, what do I do?”
