Note the old-fashioned white kampung light shades, they’re so cool. We got them from Jenny of Silic, along Balestier Road. They’ve got some really quaint stuff at non-bleeding prices..
Hey I think Godzilla left a lipstick mark on our walls! Gosh, even Japanese monsters have gone queer.
Check out the main dining area wall - it’s in such a juicy colour! Nippon Vinilux 5000 Hibiscus to be exact hehe.
From Day 1, we all agreed to having happy, edible colours for the walls. Hence the berry-like maroonish shade, the bright orangey ermmm orange tones and the absolutely creamy barley white that reminds me of mcdonald’s soft serve ice-cream.

It’s not hard to find us. But we’re always happy to help with directions - just give us a ring!

We’re a diner nestled in a friendly neighbourhood at Lorong L Telok Kurau. Our neighbours are a handful of pet shops and a very well-known vet in Singapore.
Other than making happy customers out of our dine-in guests, we also do delivery, events and functions.
We host parties of all sizes, we’re a speed-dating venue, we have a private chef-for-hire, we do product launches, we’re an exhibition space, we hold hen parties, closed-door events, cooking classes… and more. Just ask!
Meet Leopold, our new friend. He’s a real growler, this one. A bear who thinks he is a leopard. ** Thanks Jessie **
We just spent 300 plus clams on this beauty of a TV console from Homelike Furnishing.
It holds all my pretentious arty farty CDs and other useless junk.
It’s been exactly 1 month since I’ve last been employed. Being unemployed has its perks – I get to play with food the whole day long. It’s been crazy fine-tuning The Garden Slug’s recipes. I’ve got way too much stuff in my fridge I tell you. All yelling out,” eat me! Eat me!” Decisions, Decisions.
*Disclaimer: The bottles of vitamins and magic potions are not mine.
As for the Pocky… Guilty as charged!
Sharon has been sick for the past 3 days, down with gastric flu. But this brave slug has decided to fight the flu bug to continue working on our website and other designer-y things.
The digestive biscuits and the glass of glucose look delicious… Not!
It’s me in a futile attempt to ‘put together’ a sarong. Didn’t quite work out though, the sarong was way too long to go round the tiny sewing machine.
Had to pay the nice aunty at Siglap Centre $5 to hem it up eventually.
